Hospice of Pamlico County serves the needs of terminally ill patients and their families in Pamlico, Beaufort, and Craven Counties. Our team is comprised of local residents, who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Hospice services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurances, but services will be provided regardless of insurance coverage.


Hospice of Pamlico County was started February 25, 1984, as an all-volunteer non-profit agency.
We began offering full home hospice services early in 2007, and became Medicare certified
on June 25, 2007.
Medicaid began providing services in 2016.
